VamosFans
VamosFans launched in November 2023 with one goal: a kind of ESPN powered entirely by AI, focused on social-media and web news about football clubs in Costa Rica and Mexico, backed by AI-generated content. It ran until July 2025.
Inside the platform.
Real captures from VamosFans in production, across Mexico and Costa Rica: the home, the AI-generated league hubs, the news (real photography and AI), the daily newsletters and the club pages.
The feed, as clips.
A few of the videos VamosFans published to its TikTok — match moments and titles across Liga MX and Liga Promérica, packaged daily for each club's fans.
At its core, VamosFans was a localized sports-media platform: football news, match updates and fan content across Costa Rica and Mexico, with a strong focus on the Costa Rican league, Liga Promérica, alongside Mexico's Liga MX. It met fans where they already were, on its own site, on TikTok and Instagram, and through real-time WhatsApp match alerts.
Its signature product was the daily newsletter: one per club, every day, blending real social-media content, a news summary drawn from web and social sources, and club statistics. Around it ran automated blogs for both leagues and topic clusters that grouped the posts and articles on each story together.
The whole system was built to run itself. A RAG pipeline and custom algorithms handled topic creation, and LLMs generated both the writing and the imagery. For the beta we covered twelve clubs across two countries, eight in Mexico and four in Costa Rica.
The project gave us a front-row seat to the evolution of generative AI and the business opportunity around AI-driven content. It was shut down after July 2025, when funding ran out and the company refocused on other generative-AI initiatives.

Automated blogs
Auto-generated sports blogs covering Liga MX and Liga Promérica news.
Topic clusters
Each topic clustered its related social posts and blogs together for the reader.
Video generation
A final micro-project that automated the video-generation workflow with n8n.
The channels are still online.
VamosFans isn't publishing right now, but its social channels remain online: a standing record of what the platform shipped, day after day.
We wound it down after July 2025 when funding ran out and we refocused on other generative-AI work. We present it honestly: a chapter we paused, not erased, that taught us how AI-driven content scales.
