Traveliru

Traveliru is a travel-tech venture we co-founded: a digital concierge and booking platform connecting boutique hotels and short-term rentals, local tour operators, and the guests who stay with them. Tecnologías VM is the technical partner: we design and build the platform.

The T dissolving into the experiences it sells (a day at the beach, the volcano of La Fortuna) and reassembling. The amber dots are the sun over the water.

The platform, in build.

Only the teaser is public today. The platform itself (host-branded guest page, partner app) is still in build — nothing on it is live yet. It goes live in Costa Rica in 2026, starting with the first hotels.

2026Founded; launching in La Fortuna, CR

A guest lands on their host's white-labeled activities page, browses a curated catalog of local experiences, and books and pays at checkout. That simple surface hides a full B2B2C marketplace: operator onboarding, the catalog, payments, settlement, host commissions, and all the refund and cross-border banking complexity. It runs invisibly, so the whole thing feels like part of the hotel's hospitality.

Underneath are three surfaces on one marketplace: the host-branded guest page, a unified partner app for hosts and tour operators, and a treasury layer that moves money across borders. For most operators in the launch market, it's the first digital booking system they've ever used, replacing paper, spreadsheets and WhatsApp.

Traveliru was founded in March 2026 and is still in early build, ahead of launch. It launches in Costa Rica, starting in La Fortuna (Arenal: volcano, hot springs, adventure tourism), where the founders' own boutique hotel will be the first property on the platform. It's a separate company, and we present our role exactly as it is: technical partners and co-founders.

The pipeline

The invisible service, end to end.

  1. 01

    Discover

Guests land on their host's white-labeled activities page and browse a curated local catalog.

  2. 02

    Book

Price, schedule, inclusions, pickup: booked and paid in full at checkout.

  3. 03

    Confirm

Confirmations and reminders by email; no account needed, so it feels like the hotel's own hospitality.

  4. 04

    Settle

The treasury layer holds refund and chargeback reserves and absorbs the cross-border banking complexity.

  5. 05

    Pay out

Operators keep most of each booking; hosts earn a tiered commission, and everyone is paid in Costa Rica.

A venture, not a client project

Traveliru is a separate company that we co-founded; Tecnologías VM's role is the technology and the product, which is why it sits here under ventures, not client work.
